My mother preferred wearing earth-tone colors (Hey, her name was Eartha), but the one color she was drawn to was Purple ?.
When you look up the meaning of color you discover that purple is a rare occurring color in nature and as a result is often seen as having sacred meaning. Lavender, orchid, lilac and violet flowers are considered delicate and precious. ~bourncreative.com
- It has a variety of effects on the mind and body; including uplifting spirits, calming the mind and nerves, creating feelings of spirituality, increasing nurturing tendencies and encouraging imagination and creativity.
- Not to mention that it is also known as the color of royalty. ?
Seems to me that my mother, Eartha Kitt was born to #WearPurple. ?? ?

I love purple; it’s very refreshing to know a person I have admired most of my life also shared that love. When I was a teenager, I painted my bedroom purple. As an adult I wear purple most days, whether that is in clothing or jewelry. I recently colored my hair purple. I am royalty! #WearPurple
Speaking of purple, is there any chance the love bracelet with the amethyst beads is coming back? I’ve been eyeing it for months but it’s never listed as being in stock.
Laura, what a fabulous reminder. Thank you. I will put them back in the store today. 🙂
Thanks! I’m so excited, I just ordered two!!!
